There are many people all over the world who have never really been outside of 100 miles from where they may live. Some people have never gone further than even 50 miles and there are people who have yet to go past 25 miles from where they were born. This is such a sad predicament considering on how much they are missing out.

Even more so since right now it's summer. The season for when people go traveling to see the rest of the world to absorb the rich culture, vast history and meet interesting people rather than staying in front of the couch and watching the television for the next three months.

There are many different places that a person can visit and still not have enough time in their lives to see and experience everything. However there are a few things that are a must see in this world if you are truly interested in traveling.

Probably the number one location to have seen at least once in your lives is the Great Pyramid of Giza. This structure is the last existing of the Seven Wonders of the World. While you are down in Egypt it would also be a good idea to see the Saladin Citadel of Cairo and spend some time absorbing the culture while you are there.

But Egypt isn't the only place with such wonderful places to see and explore. Spain, Italy, France, the United Kingdom, Brazil, China, Russia, and the rest of the world also has places to visit and people to meet.

Two of the main reasons for why people want to go traveling are to absorb the culture and meet the people who live in such an interesting place. To them, what we may perceive as different and interesting might be completely normal to them while we are the ones who are different and interesting. Traveling around the world can give you a much better understanding of how the rest of the world is doing and give you a new perspective on how you can live your life.

Many other hotspot locations that people visit are to see certain events and occasions that are breathtaking to watch such as the aurora borealis, the migrations of whales and many other events where amazing natural events take place. Traveling around the world for the scenery is also another reason why people travel. The beaches of Okinawa, the forests of the Amazon, the mountains of the Himalayas are places that can completely change a person's view on the world.

Traveling is a very exciting activity that people of all ages can participate as well is something that you can do in solitude or with friends and family to enjoy.
