Urination is frequent only under the cases where there is too much glucose in the blood. In case insulin is ineffective or non existent, the kidney is unable to filter glucose bath to the blood.
These become overwhelmed easily and try to draw extra water from the blood in order to dilute the glucose. This also keeps your bladder full and makes you run to the bathroom more frequently.
b)Tingling or Numbness in feet, leg or hands
The symptom is referred to as neuropathy. It occurs when the nervous system of the body is damaged due to high glucose in the blood.
c)Losing weight
This symptom is more common with Type 1 diabetes. This is because the body stops making insulin due to a viral attack on pancreas cells or due to an autoimmune response that tends to attack insulin producing cells. Most people under these conditions tend to lose weight without drying for it. Keep tabs on your body weight.
d)Weakness and fatigue
One tends to experience a lot of weakness and fatigue even without having to make much effort. The absence of insulin in the body results in this condition.
e)Unquenchable thirst
You would feel as if you are not getting enough water even after drinking too much of it through out the day.
C) Rush to your health care provider under the following condition:
1.Abdominal pain
2.Breathing more deeply and rapidly than usual
3.Breath smelling like nail polish remover.
4.Weakness; Fainting spells
5.Rapid heart beat; Trembling
6.Excessible sweating
Under emergency, eat or drink a carbohydrate snack quickly to avoid further complications.
