The ever absorbing complications of modern life,seldom give us chance to explore the infinite capacity of all our mental faculties. Still,we can create opportunities. That will,also,result in inventions of all the necessary devices for our lives. Never forget the old adage that,necessity is mother of all inventions. And,the mental process,engaged in any invention,is,of course,a good mental exercise. In other words,any necessity of life would be a very good facilitator of mental exercise.

Even a laymans flights of imaginations may,sometimes,provide with some chance clues. Who knows,which novel device would be forthcoming? We can utilize anything at hand,for such mental exercises. For example,let us ponder on some specific facilities,we require in the car we utilize,in accordance with ever changing circumstances. Only the other day,I read about certain cell-phone technology which,virtually,cannot be stolen. If that is possible for the cell-phones, why cannot an improved device of theft-proof cars be possible?

Surely,scientists can devise some method to fit the D.N.A. code,of the owner of a car, in the software which makes a car theft-proof. And, why should we dream only about a theft-proof car? In fact, there are numerous necessities, which modern cars should be lassed with,in accordance with the changing clcumstances.

Suppose, you suddenly get a traffic jam, while driving through an ascending road. With bumper to bumper traffic. In such situation, you would inch ahead from zero speed, most often. In such scenario, your car would, surely, begin sliding back, as soon you would leave the break-pedal in the process of shifting your foot on to the accelerator. Quite possibly, the back of your car would collide with the front of the car just behind yours. Supposing your timing is perfect enough to be able to move ahead without letting your car slide back, even for a millimetre, what is the guarantee that the car in front of yours would not slide back to collide with that of yours?

Cannot the car manufacturers improve the technology of the gear-system or, the differential-gear-system of cars, for the prevention of such mishap? Surely, that is not impossible. The clue is, utilization of natural gravitational force of the earth. The gear-system or, the differential-gear-system of a car might be fitted with certain mechanical device, coupled with electronic software, which would shift its position, precisely, in accordance with the shifting centre of gravity of the car, thereby preventing a car from sliding back even for a millimetre. If such technology already exists, it has not come to my notice as yet.

Let us, now, think about the fuel of the future. The U.S.A. President Bush has, foolishly, been highlighting the petroleum riches of some countries, which is not going to exist forever.

Scientific experiments and, real experiences have proven it beyond doubt, that modern cars can run on bio-fuel more efficiently than those on conventional petroleum fuel. In fact, many agriculturists have started growing plantations of several species of bio-fuel. And, the Chief Minister of an Stat, in India, has been using such bio-fuel in his S.U.V. of modern times very successfully, for the past several years.

Are the car manufacturers seriously focussing their mind in this direction?
