Children and toys are inseparable they say and it is a very true fact. There are several toys for children. They are of different types, made of different things, they are of different colors etc. most of the toys that child's play today are electronic toys. But there is one type of toy that will impress any child. These are the wooden toys.

The toys are called wooden toys because they are especially made of wood. These wooden toys are for those children who would love to have their toys to themselves without having to change them or anything. For example when a child buys an electronic toy, in the future the electronic toy might wear out and get repaired. Because of this the electronic toy might not work properly and hence it will lose its value.

In the case of wooden toys, this wont happen because not only are they unbreakable in most cases, but they are also in the form of show pieces. The wooden toys have simple mechanisms and wont get repaired that easily. Also the wooden toys will last as long as possible. The child will never get tired of the wooden toys. One more important thing with respect to the wooden toys is the fact that, many of them are very cheap and attractive. In the case of an electronic toy, this is not the case. Most of the electronic toys are way too costly and it is sometimes highly impossible for the poor families to buy the electronic toys. Wooden toys are the ones that the poor families can afford.

Now wooden toys are usually designed by the poor people who do not have access to the high end resources. These people create wooden toys especially for the children. The wooden toys may be without any external fittings or they will also be fitted with something sometimes. For example the wooden toys of an animal say the elephant will be fitted with small wheels. This will add more fun to the child. The child might play with these wooden toys by running along with them and playing along with them.

The wooden toys are also less risky compared to the electronic toys. This is because in an electronic toy, the battery and other electric equipments are used. This might prove as a danger to the children who are playing with them. But in the case of the wooden toys, no such harmful things are used. It is basically made of wood which does not pose any hazard to the child who plays with it. Thus wooden toys are a boon to the children who love playing with the toys all the time.
