Treatment Of Blood Clots
John1 Humphrey1
One of the most serious risks when you are on the ring is developing Nuvaring blood clots. These are extremely dangerous and known to be one of the most serious Nuvaring risks there are. There are several things that you can do to protect yourself from developing a blood clot. These things include taking medications, vitamins, exercise, and not smoking.
One of the biggest ways to prevent blood clots while using the birth control ring is to take the medications that are prescribed to you from your doctor. Not only should you take any prescribed medications but you need to remain in regular contact with your doctor to be sure that you are in good health. This can help you prevent a blood clot including pulmonary embolism.
Another way that doctors will help you prevent blood clots is by watching your intake of blood thinners and your balance of Vitamin K. This is because when you have the ring inserted and you take anticoagulants you have to watch how much vitamin K you consume. This is because it can affect drugs that are supposed to thin your blood causing them to maybe not even work at all and cause a deep vein thrombosis or one of the other many Nuvaring risks.
Exercise is another way that you can prevent Nuvaring side effects. Blood clots develop when the blood is not adequately pumping through the body. Exercise causes the heart to beat stronger which improves circulation by pushing the blood through the body faster. This is one of the best ways to avoid Nuvaring risks or developing a blood clot.
There are other things that increase blood clot risks which include smoking cigarettes, obesity, high blood pressure and more. If you want to avoid blood clots then you should consider a serious change of lifestyle so you do not put yourself at risk. If you choose not to change your lifestyle the only way to avoid having blood clots caused by birth control is to choose another type of contraceptive that doesn't contain hormones.
Many women are often told by their doctor that they need to wear compression stockings. This may be because you spend too much time standing in one place on your feet or simply because you have really poor circulation in your legs. If a doctor tells you that you need to wear compression stockings it is to reduce your risk of developing blood clots.
Blood clots are extremely dangerous and deadly for some women. There are many ways that you can decrease your Nuvaring risks if you want to use this form of birth control. These things include taking medications as prescribed, exercising, changing your lifestyle, and more. Blood clots are dangerous but it can be avoided if you take care of your body and see a physician on a regular basis.
