Wholesale To Sell On Ebay
Vickie Sayce
Most people who sell ebooks on eBay don't actually author the ebooks themselves. Instead, they purchase ebooks from other sources, or they employ someone else to write an ebook for them. Finding ebooks to sell on eBay is fairly simple, if you know what to look for, and with the right marketing skills, you can make good money working from home selling ebooks.
There are a wide range of websites online that offer ebooks for download that you can sell on eBay. Some sellers will use ebooks that they find for free, but this isn't a good practice for a couple of reasons. First, free ebooks are free to everyone, and it won't be that hard for your buyers to find the same ebook you are trying to sell for free somewhere else. Second, most free ebooks come with restrictions that do not allow you to resell them for a profit. Selling these ebooks without permission can get you into a lot of trouble, and you can end up paying fines, or worse, just for trying.
Stick to purchasing ebooks that you can find for a fairly low price, under $10. This is an incredibly small investment in comparison to the profit you stand to make. Because ebooks are digital, they can be reproduced as many times as you want, as long is there is a demand for them, and it won't cost you any more money than your initial investment. One ebook can bring you a stream of income for years to come.
One of the major things to look for when purchasing an ebook to sell on eBay is resale rights. Many ebook authors who sell their ebooks for download do not offer resale rights along with your purchase. This means you cannot sell the ebook to anyone else; it is only meant for your personal use. Unless the ebook you intend to purchase explicitly states that you will receive the resale rights along with the purchase of the ebook, look for another source.
Remember that with eBay's new rules, you can no longer offer digital delivery of electronic items. To get around this restriction, sellers are now copying their ebooks onto a CD, which is then mailed to their buyers. You can purchase blank CD-Rom's for a very low price this day and age, so it won't be a financial setback. Plus, you can explain to your buyers that having an ebook on CD will make it much easier for them to access their ebook, especially if they decide to upgrade machines or they suffer a computer failure. With a CD, their ebook is safe from being lost on their computer.
Ebooks are a great way to make money from home on eBay, but many sellers don't realize that even with the new rules, it's incredibly easy to do. Because of this, the market is wide open for new sellers to get in on selling ebooks. Just make sure to purchase an ebook with resale rights, and you'll be making money on eBay from home in no time.
