Based on your personality profile, you're better off purchasing a treadmill that is made for walking and occasionally sprinting ? but definitely not for running. For walking, you'll need a treadmill that has a short deck ? say up to, but no longer than 47 inches.

Longer decks are for serious runners and avid exercisers ? which you clearly are not. You would prefer a leisurely walk on the treadmill. You'll also need a treadmill that goes up to 10 MPH, but certainly not more than that.

Short deck treadmills tend to be much cheaper than high end treadmills, which is great for you. You can also purchase a foldable treadmill more often than not with shorter deck treadmills than with longer deck treadmills.

Pros

What I love about the Weslo C44 is that it has an important feature called a safety key, which is needed to start the treadmill. This safety key also stops the treadmill immediately in emergency situations. That's great for when you decide to have little ones running around the house.

I also like that the LCD console is large and easy to read and the controls are well marked. The best feature is that it is foldable which means it will take up less space. Most treadmills are about the size of a couch. Based on your living quarters, you would do best with a foldable treadmill.

Cons

However, there are a few things that I don't like about the Weslo C44 and that is that some assembly is required. For me, I hate putting things together, but that's just me. I prefer to have it shipped either already assembled or have the delivery guy assemble it for me.

Another thing that I don't like is the limited warranty. The Weslo C44 has a frame and motor warranty of 1 year and service and labor warranty of 90 days. That is really bad. But the good news is because you're not a runner, you won't put much wear and tear on the treadmill and so your Weslo C44 is likely to last ? at least for a year.

Opting For Higher End Treadmills

You can also opt for a higher end treadmill, which means, you will spend maybe between $499 and $999. These are what I call mid-range priced treadmills. They have better warranties, more durability and more ?bells and whistles.?
