The most prominent global health issues are measles, malaria, AIDS, tuberculosis, and water borne diseases. In many parts of the African continent, malaria is rampant. It not only affects those who are suffering from it but also the nation's prosperity. Foreign trade is affected due to these diseases. Such endemic diseases bring a nation's economy to a standstill.

AIDS is another fatal disease to which millions succumb every year due to either ignorance or carelessness. There is a need to spread awareness about this disease. The fact that there is no cure for this disease and hence it makes it even deadlier. The Caribbean, Brazil, Africa, India, China, Thailand, Eastern Europe, and Central Asia are regions rife with AIDS. HIV/AIDS education can help people take proper care and precaution to prevent the transmission of AIDS. People should be taught how to protect themselves from AIDS.

Cancer health issue is a great threat to entire humanity. Cure for cancer has been found, but either it is very expensive or painful. Cancer is basically unwanted multiplying of cells which results in formation of lumps of cells which are called as tumors. Chemotherapy is a very painful treatment for cancer, but it is known to be quite effective.

However, bicycling health issue if done in excess can make you to suffer from extreme pains as it might strain your muscles.

Aboriginal health issues are of great concern since they suffer from grave diseases such as cancer, respiratory diseases, circulatory diseases etc. In addition, their life expectancy is quite low.

Water pollution and health problems are related together. Chemicals released from industries get mixed with water and when this water is used for drinking or everyday use becomes a hazard to human health. Chlorination of water, treatment of sewage and drinking water, treating industrial wastes before they are released in water bodies are some of the measures that could be taken to prevent these diseases. In addition, at the household level, the storage containers for drinking water must be cleaned regularly. At the government level, the public works department should ensure from time to time that the drinking water pipelines that run through the city do not have any leaks.
