They may be seeing someone else on the side, but they would not want you to do the same. He may want to do this to wear you down. Some men have a control issue and this may be his way to keep you under his wing. He may think that you do not know anything at all and that everything is fine. You need to either decide to accept this or tell him that you are not going to take it anymore.
