"We think Veronica will make the perfect complement to Tim ? she'll add a little sass to his class," Frances Berwick, Bravo's Executive VP of Programming and Production, said. "She not only brings extensive fashion expertise to the series, but she will be someone for our makeover subjects to lean on, creating a fun, comfortable, yet educational experience that our viewers can learn from."

The new reality series will feature Webb and Gunn giving fashion advice to women whom they think really need some. Tim Gunn is responsible for providing the style-challenged ladies with several shopping challenges and guiding their choices, as to enlighten them with a sense of style. He will also become their support system, as he listens and offers solutions whenever the women encounter a fashionable obstacle. Webb will be there to share her opinions and fashion know-how.

"We're going to work with a subject each week. I serve as a kind of fashion therapist," Gunn said in a recent interview. "What I want to leave behind is a lesson the person can use in daily life."

Not only does the show serve as a fashion therapy reality series, but Bravo has also included a supplement by hosting video style tips from fashion experts on their website. The website will also provide a section dedicated to online shopping for clothes to complete their desired looks.

The reality series Guide to Style is based on Tim Gunn's book entitled A Guide to Quality, Taste and Style, which was published by Abrams Image Publishers in May. The book was also co-written by Kate Moloney, the assistant chairwoman of fashion design at Parsons The New School of Design. Last weekend saw the Project Runway mentor visiting Bethany Beach Books on Garfield at Browseabout Books on Rehoboth Beach to reach fans and give them an opportunity to ask him questions about his first book. Along with this, there was a book signing held at the shops.
