Put on Your War Paint
Step1: Give yourself a makeover, not to console you, but because you deserve it. Guys, get a shave, facial massage (trust me, you will love it) shampoo and style, and a manicure (nothing like having a cute hairdresser or nail tech holding your hand for half an hour). Ladies, get the works: wash and style, highlights, manicure, pedicure and facial.
Step2: Stride out of the beauty shop like you own the world, head high. Smile at anybody you see. Confidence is contagious and smiles are meant to be spread.
Step3: Head for the nearest department store, preferably a midscale or upscale one. Try on a variety of looks. Experiment and don't be afraid to sport something different just for fun. Get yourself two or three entire new outfits: shirt or blouse, pants or skirt, shoes, socks or hose, belt and anything else that completes the look. (Guys, Utilikilts are sexy! Give one a try).
Step4: Put your new look together and go out on the town. You are sexy and single, live it up.
Rings on Your Fingers and Bells on Your Toes
Step1: Find a basin large enough for your feet to fit comfortably. Fill with warm water.
Step2: Add Epsom salts and scented oil. Soak feet for ten to fifteen minutes or until water begins to cool.
Step3: Dry feet thoroughly, especially between the toes. Use your exfoliating brush to scrub away any rough areas.
Step4: Give yourself a pedicure. Clip toenails and file them smooth, then give each nail a coat of clear nail polish. Guys, this includes you.
Paint the Town
Step1: Look up your old friends and arrange to go out for the evening. Brainstorm a list of places you want to stop before the night is over and try to hit them all.
Step2: Sport one of your new looks. Walk into the place like you own it, smile and have fun.
Step3: Don't worry about making connections. This is your night to relax. If it's going to happen, it will.
Step4: Put your all into having fun, whatever you are doing. Your attitude will be infectious.
