What To Feed One Year Old
David W Richards
Just like every little kid in this world, your baby loves to run and jump. Yet, jumping is not always easy for every kid. Some need less than a day to be able to jump. Some others need weeks to do so.
For those with difficulty in learning how to job, parents have a big role in helping them
Here are some methods that you can try to accelerate your one-year-old's learning process in jumping:
•Soft ground
Help him to try it first on a soft ground. You can use the bed or a trampoline. Let him learn to jump there with you holding his hands while he jumps. If you think he can do it by himself, no need to hold his hands. Even if he falls, it won't hurt her. Another way is by getting him onto your sofa and put a thin mattress below then let him jump from the sofa onto the mattress with you still holding his hands.
•Use some music
For kids who love music, this is a great thing to do. Put on some music he likes and ask him to move with you. First, just move around the room by walking, then encourage him to jump.
•Invite some friends
If you have family or friends with kids at the same age, why don't you invite them for a small gathering? Prepare a cheerful activity that can be done both by parents and kids that includes jumping. Let your little one see how other kids jump and soon he will follow.
•Be creative
Use your creativity to help your little one to develop his motoric skill. Get some pictures of animals. Cut them, and then put them on the floor. Ask your kid to jump from one animal picture to another.
It is important to help your child develop his motoric skill for it relates to his whole intelligence.
