Right guys listen out - the title of this article is NOT relevant - here is lesson number ONE.

If you want to get your blog to the top of Google then you need to know what you are doing - and choosing the right keywords is crucially paramount to whether or not you will succeed. There are two areas to look at

1 - The keyword used in your domain name

2 - Your keyword used in posts and categories

Firstly, let's look at the keyword used in your domain name. The Wealth Foundation is not a typical example because it is a membership site made up of many different businesses. However if this site was centred around blogging and nothing else then I would want to get the word 'blogging' somewhere in the domain name. Here are two real live examples -

www.harleydavidsonworld.info

www.dwiattorneysandlwyers.com

Both sites are humongously specific in what they are about - HARLEY DAVIDSONS and DRINK DRIVING LAWYERS. Now, this is what is known as NICHE marketing - you will no doubt have heard this term before and those two sites give just about the clearest examples of what niche marketing is all about. Now, if you choose your niches well then you can make a fortune out of blogging. I have shown you in the first video inside the members area how easy it is to get your site to the top of Google within a day or so - and both examples use the niche term in the domain name - ok?

So, moving on - let's look at blog posts and categories. Now, each POST you write on your blog should be centred around a keyword phrase that you want to rank for - taking this post as a working example I am trying to rank for the search term WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THE TERM BLOGGING - and that is the ONLY reason I have it as the title of my post - and is also why I just repeated the phrase EXACTLY in the previous sentence.

The reason that I am trying to rank for that particular term is that Wordtracker has told me that it gets 29 searches a day and there are only 421 competing sites on the Internet (go and check it yourself making sure that you surround the term with quotes).

Now the whole idea of putting your posts and blogs together is to subtly put your desired keyword search terms in as many strategic places as you can. So, if you ever find yourself sat at your computer scratching your head and thinking to yourself - "What is the meaning of the term blogging?" - then you will realise that I have just found yet another subtle way of getting my desired keyword into my post in such a way that it comes across perfectly naturally.

So this article is finished - what I want you to take in from this lesson is that you need to be careful about your keyword selection and you need to bear in mind that each keyword should be used in posts and categories of your blog.
