Drugs Which Can Help You
Norman Moler
Bronchial asthma is very dangerous disease and is causes by narrowing of airways of the bronchial tubes. Tobacco smoke, air pollutants can make the situation worse. When the airs moves in the tubes, the person breathes without difficulties. Problems with breathing can be caused by many different factors: infection, stress, changes in climate etc.
There are many different drugs which can help you to solve the problem. The first and the most widespread variant is corticosteroid. Hydrocortisone must be used every six hours for 2 days to fight with asthma. But sometimes steroid do not act very fast and in this case inhalation must be continued. Besides, steroids are also useful for other problems. The most popular and effective drugs which can help you are: Bambuterol (Bambudil),  Salmeterol (Salmeter, Serobid), Bambuterol,  Formoterol (Foratec),  Ipratropium Hydrobromide, Montelukast and Zafirlukast, Sodium cromoglycate, Fintal 1 mg MDI, Ketotifen, etc. Majority of these drugs have side effects so the patients must be careful and attentive with consumption. The most common of them are allergy and headache. Majority of drugs are taken orally.
There is also category of combination drugs. Patients have to take such drugs for long period of time and many pharmaceutical companies produce expensive drug combinations. In this combination the patient will find drugs from different groups. Those drugs which are combined very often are:
Terbutaline 5 mg (SR) + theophylline (BRONCHO PLUS)
Terbutaline 2.5 mg + theophylline (THEOBRIC)
Salbutamol 2 mg + theophylline (THEO ASTHALIN)
Salbutamol 2 mg + theophylline (BRONCHO PLUS)
If one type of drug cannot provide effective and fast relief, another can do it and if they will be taken together, depending on the needs of patient, the result will be very good and effective. All these combinations are available on the market, but before making the final decision, consult your doctor.
