Groin liposuction is not yet something that is available. This is actually the crease that is located where the torso meets the legs and the area that includes the genitals. In many cases this word is used as another name for genitals because in some cultures the words for genitals are forbidden. Often, when somebody talks about these muscles, they are actually talking about the muscles in their inner thighs. By itself, it is simply the fold or the hollow that is on both sides of the body where the thighs join the abdominal area.

Why This Area?

You shouldn't remove fat from this area because the area is needed to keep your body mobile. It is not actually a muscle or an area for fat. It is simply the conjecture point of the upper body and the thigh. It is a very sensitive areas anybody who has been grabbed there, but it is not an area where fat typically resides. When people think of fat removal here, they are probably thinking of having fat removed from their buttocks or thighs.

Fat Removal on the Thighs

The inner thigh is one of the most popular areas for people to have this surgery done. By thinning the thighs, people do not have to worry about their thighs rubbing together (causing nasty friction). This surgery does not usually leave any scars, irregularities or lumpiness. During this surgery(which, in this case is actually thigh fat removal), the doctor makes a very small incision in the skin, usually near the crease of the buttocks and inserts a thin tube (cannula) into the area of fat. This tube is used to break the fat deposits up and to sculpt the thigh into the patients desired shape. The fat that isn't wanted is removed with a very high pressured vacuum, but the rest of the skin, muscles, nerves and blood vessels are left alone.

Fat Removal of the Buttocks

Believe it or not, fat removal of the buttocks is becoming less popular because many people are starting to envy the larger buttock sizes!

In buttocks fat removal, the surgeon will make a small incision usually near or in the crease of the buttocks and inserts a cannula to break up the fat much like the fat removal of the thighs. In the buttocks, however, a few different kinds of techniques can be used, including a super wet technique in which anesthetic and adrenaline are injected into the surgery area, a tumescent technique which injects even more liquid and even the ultrasound-assisted technique, which uses sound waves to break up the fat after the liquid has been injected (the jury is still out on whether or not this method is perfectly safe).

Remember, groin liposuction is not actually fat removal in that area because it is not an actual body part, but the name given to an area where different parts of the body meet. If you are thinking of having fat removal done on this area, you are actually thinking of having it done on your inner thighs or your buttocks.
