(This is not to say that there is not unique swimwear. There is, and there is good quality unique swimwear available, and quality is something you really want to pay attention to. Elements such as water, heat from the sun, chlorine and salt, and lotions and oils can all be hard on fabrics. While you pay a little more for quality, it is well worth it.)

So, how do you make a unique statement with your swimwear? You stay true to yourself. What do you love? What colors appeal to you? What fabrics keep your senses alive? Who are you dressing for-yourself or do you choose what you wear for other people’s approval?
