Lift Your Spirit & Reduce Stress Now !
Sacha Tarkovsky
These are simple tips but they will lift your spirit and make sure you get more from life.
Lifting your spirit and your mood
1. Be Positive
Life is what you make it. If you think you are going to have a bad day you probably will. If you think you can't do something you will probably fail.
By being positive about yourself and life and what you can achieve, you will approach life with the state of mind that you will do your best.
Try and see the positive rather than the negative, even in situations that hurt you there is normally a positive to be taken.
2. Make time for you
many people feel guilty about making time for themselves but it's important to make sure that you give yourself attention and time out.
Try the following:
Read Books that inspire you it doesn't ,matter what subject so long as they are important to you and motivate you to better things.
Get a massage or treat yourself to a relaxing break or spa where you can chill out and have attention.
Make quality time for yourself at least once or twice a month, where you do what you want to and indulge in treating yourself be it a trip to the cinema, art gallery or whatever pleases you.
Don't neglect yourself and always focus on others, this is not being selfish, its necessary, we all need to pay attention to our own needs.
3. Learn To Forgive
Always try and see the best in people even if you don't agree with them.
Try and understand their motivation even if it is not compatible with your own and never bear grudges or waste energy on negative people move on.
Forgiving yourself and others is a great way to feel better.
Start by forgiving yourself - if something you say or do causes a problem, don't let it linger in your system move on.
If someone hurts you learn to forgive them don't bear a grudge.
Forgiving yourself and others gets rid of negativity and wasted energy and liberates you
De-Stress Your Schedule
You want to, but where do you start there is so much to do and not enough time!
Work stress alone has been linked to depression, heart disease, and other a variety of other illnesses that affect for millions of people every year.
Without changing jobs, how can you de-stress? How do you make time for friends, family, and leisure? Here are some simple tips.
1. Get organized
Plan your day, get a planner and write it down and prioritize your tasks.
When you do this it wont let things build up and get to much for you, that you feel you can't cope.
You can see all your tasks and make a plan and put them in order of priority.
2. If it Takes 5 minutes or less to do - Do it
David Allen, author of the book Getting Things Done: The Art of Stress-Free Productivity, notes that if a task comes up and it takes less than 5 minutes do it.
It will help those little jobs from building up and simply get them out the way de cluttering your schedule.
2. Prioritize and do your most unpleasant tasks first.
For example, if you know you have tooth ache and hate going to the dentist, just grit your teeth and do it.
Your going to have to go eventually, so get it out of your system and just do it and you will feel much better.
Don't ever let important tasks build up that play on your mind.
3. Don't take on to much
Be realistic about how much you can achieve and don't take on to much.
There are many things we all take on and we shouldn't - be realistic and set realistic targets and time frames.
4. Get help and delegate
Don't be afraid to ask for help from others.
If there is something you cannot achieve or someone else can do it better delegate, you can only do so much in a day.
Make sure your organized take swift action where needed and prioritize and finally spread the load if you can to others who can help you.
More energy a better outlook and less stress!
Try the three simple tips above and you will feel better on both an emotional and physical level
