I never paid a very high premium on my eleven year old son's judgment. I considered him immature and not up to making any serious decisions. Which is why, when he came up with the proposal of having beanbags for his room, I wasn't very interested. My son prefers the beanbag over the conventional chair because of the comfort and because of the style. He says the beanbag is the best fit for playing video games. Children aren't the neatest of people and parents would agree with me that furniture in the room of children have a high rate of depreciation. Beanbags would alleviate this to a certain extent. Now whatever my son spills on his beanbag, can be washed off, leaving the beanbag as good as new.

Well, to tell you the truth I have a certain amount of new found respect for my son and his ability to make decisions. True, his decision was motivated by peer pressure, but the decision itself is foolproof. Beanbag is a healthier, cheaper and better alternative in every which way to conventional chairs.
