First of all, when buying the beanbag check with your seller about the material of the beanbag. Leather beanbags are usually made of seasoned leather or leather like substance which can be washed in your washing machine. Vinyl beanbags should ideally not be wet and can be dry cleaned.

When you want to clean the bag, just empty the bag of its pellets. This can be done by locating the chain of the bag at the base of the bag and opening it, and storing the pellets. Sometimes the bags fo not contain a chain - this is usually found in non-branded beanbags but don't let that worry you. Locate the seam of the beanbag and cut the seam.
