There is no knowledge in the world that is better than self knowledge. Without self knowledge you are just another person repeating someone else's knowledge. It is that simple.
There is nothing to follow; this is not a 10 step program. All of this knowledge is information that comes from within you. You learn how to become aware of you, moment to moment.
In order to understand the effects of stress it is necessary to first gain an understanding of how stress works in your life.
It all starts with you, your mind and how you think. Your thoughts are yours and no one has the ability to touch your mind or thoughts, they can't! Sure they can touch you physically, but in no way can they touch or tap into your thoughts or your mind. Only you have the key to access knowledge about yourself. You are the only one that can make changes for a healthier more successful life, just by becoming aware of your thoughts moment to moment with no judgments. They are just thoughts and you create them, whether they are stressful or tranquil.
The stress doesn't go away, it's still there, however you learn how to be more aware of the workings of your thoughts, appearing in your head, which is your own personal knowledge of your self. No one can reach in and touch your thoughts. So, observe the stressful thought as soon as it appears, then come back to what you were doing before the thought appeared. It becomes a game that you play by yourself and you start to see that this game is fun. Because you realize that you are the only one playing, no one else can come into this game, and it's you making all the rules.
You learn how to laugh in the moment, at that moment when your personal thoughts appear as stress. You then can move on with your life moment to moment giving all that you do in that moment your best efforts, focus and attention. You are in your game, in the moment, how can you loose?
Once you learn how this works, this observation and awareness of self, you will start to see changes. Your life, personally and professionally become an open road that is easy to travel because obstacles are no longer in your way.
I like to refer to this observation and awareness as brain aerobics for the mind. That is just what it is, you become the athlete and build healthy strength on your own, and it is such an awesome way to live. It can help you loose weight, stop smoking or whatever goals you are trying to set for yourself. You will also see that it has an affect on everyone around you, and people will want to know how you do this. Then you find yourself teaching others, and you keep getting stronger because you know how this works, you are doing it.
Now is the time for us to begin to have a better understanding of who we truly are by learning how to be less fearful of everything we think and do, every minute of the day.
I have accomplished this understanding by learning how to live in the moment, or if you want to call it being in the now, or being present, or the here and now, it is all the same whichever way you want to say it. It is the first step to understanding yourself quickly, without wasting any more time.
The understanding that I live with allows me to share it; and furthermore, I encourage you to find it for yourself.
The information that leads to this understanding is there. It is within you. It is yours; you simply have to want it.
It enables you to understand yourself and others. It gives you the ability to stay focused, to enjoy your life, and to live with the understanding of the word stress.
It is to seek with effort, each person, on your own, for yourself by yourself.
Take advantage of this information, wake up! Start living a life that is filled with calm and peace, even under the most stressful moments.
The awareness that you will gain allows you to remain young, healthy, happy, successful and relieved.
Whatever you take or leave from this journey know that it is yours.
