It also tightens your skin preventing any premature aging, tones your muscles, stimulates blood circulation, improves the function of your nervous system, helps with digestion and the best of all it is not expensive or invigorating. The first thing you need to do when dry brushing your skin, is to start at your feet and then sweep up the legs in long movements.
All of the movements that you make should be directed towards the heart. The reason why you would do this is because you want to encourage the return of blood to the heart and encourage lymphatic flow. Of course in order to get rid of cellulite, you also have to pay attention to cellulite prone areas such as your thighs.
Remember not to brush too much, because over brushing causes the skin to turn red and become irritated. The best time for you to brush is either first thing in the morning, when the increased blood flow will help wake you up or just before you take a shower.
