Tahitian pearls range in size from 9mm to 16mm making them some of the largest pearls available. Black Tahitian pearls are harvested in French Polynesia from the Pinctada Margaratifera oyster. This is one of the largest pearl-producing oysters in the world, only exceeded by the South Sea pearl- producing Pictada Maxima.

Being able to buy them like this, allows us to purchase the pearls for dramatically lower prices, and sometimes sell them for them for less than wholesale. Jewelry stores, who often buy from outlets like us, typically pay about twice our cost for their pearls, and their markup is usually 400 to 600 percent, putting them at or near our list prices.So we say everybody can afford Tahitian pearls.
