Have you been able to find one that works for you yet? Even if you do find one that works will it have side effects. Some medications certainly do.
One way of dealing with your acid reflux condition is to take a look at your lifestyle. There are many people who have seen a drastic improvement with their condition just by improving their quality of life. Were going to look at a few changes that you can make that will help your condition.
Tip 1: Eat smaller meals: When you eat smaller meals you take away allot of that bloating feeling that you can get. This will also help take away allot of the pressure that is put on your esophagus. To make up for the smaller meals you will need to eat a little more often.
Tip 2: Stop eating spicy foods: Allot of people with acid reflux are very sensitive to strong spices. You may have to give up on Mexican foods, Italian foods, and any other of your favorite dishes. If you can find away to make them with less spice then give that a try.
Tip 3: Avoid Alcohol: Alcohol wont necessarily give you acid reflux. But alcohol can make your condition worse or help trigger your condition. Since alcohol can be very strong to begin with you should keep your drinking to a very modest level.
Tip 4: Don't lie down after eating: You want to give your stomach a chance to digest. You particularly want to avoid lying down on your stomach. Lying on your stomach will put too much pressure on your esophageal sphincter. Instead, you should try lying on your back and keeping your head slightly tilted upwards.
Tip 5: Keep stress to a minimum: There are allot of bad things that come from stress. A high stress level can cause your stomach to become upset and can give you heart problems. When you feel stressed just stop what you are doing. Take a few minutes to breath and calm yourself down.
If these tips don't work then you may need to see your doctor. If you seem to get acid reflux for no good reason then you will either need to find a good natural remedy or see what your doctor has to offer you.
