Most people decorate their homes from pieces they pick up over a period of time, rather than all in one go. This gives you an opportunity to satisfy a need with your promotional products. People love getting things for the home as gifts, as they are usually considered to be annoying expenses. People would much rather spend the money they spend on home accessories on something else. Giving people items that they can use in their home or add to their collection of useful home gadgets will be greatly appreciated.
Promotional products that you can use at home include many different things. If you are giving gifts to men, go with bar equipment like bottle holders, shot pourers and promotional ashtrays and cigar boxes.
Giving out small boxes of cigars with your logo on the box at a special occasion makes your staff and clients feel like they are ?part of the club?. This kind of bond is something that can rarely be bought with marketing campaigns.
When buying home accessories for women the game is a little bit more complicated. Better yet, find a company that already does a selection of his and hers bath accessories. You can usually find hampers with a selection of men's soaps, shaving gel, shampoo and aftershave, or a basket of bath salts, bath foam and body butter for women for less than $20 each. Alternatively you can go for a combination of his and hers promotional products and give it as a gift to your employee or client and their spouse.
Promotional products for the home are a great way to show that your company cares about your employees and clients beyond the confines of the office walls. Not only will you strengthen professional relationships by giving gifts like these, but you will also be getting your brand into the homes of all the people you work with and do business with. This should be done as part of a broader marketing strategy, but if executed properly using promotional products should yield very high returns on your marketing investment. Just remember to distribute some products to people who do not already work from you or buy your products!
