"No," was the rushed reply to the unfinished question. The question was going to be about a particular job, but the answer spoke volumes.
There are many people in the world that simply don't enjoy work. Those same people will spend hours gardening, working in the tool shed or other activities, but they don't see that as work. It's a hobby or entertainment.
The truth is that people get paid every day to do the activities that others consider fun. It's not that you don't like to work. It is more likely that you don't enjoy the work that you are doing at present. The key to enjoying work is to do something that you enjoy. It's a simple thought, but it is not always an easy decision.
By the time people figure out what they enjoy and discover the tools to make it a part of their lives, they have responsibilities. It doesn't help that most have little or no savings and so no security net. They get caught in the trap of working because they have to work in order to make ends meet.
If you are in that position it is not to late to make a move. You will have to start by creating a budget (as tight as you can) and sticking to it all while saving all the extra that you can. It may even be possible to start working in the area that you enjoy on a part time basis and adding that money to your savings (while building your experience in the field). You will also want to create a plan for making your dreams your reality.
Once you have your plan and have three to six months of savings in place then it is time to take the leap. Jump into what you enjoy and you will find joy in the work that you do.
