One Cheetah Girl has been up and about these days, and it's Sabrina Ryan. The 23-year-old performer has become a favorite in Dancing With the Stars, but she continues to engage in her other endeavors to keep her busy. For one, she is still with the all-girl pop group, The Cheetah Girls, who recently released their official debut solo album entitled TCG.
Much like the Pussycat Dolls who named their freshman album PCD, the Cheetah Girls may likely be following in their footsteps. At the end of this month, Cheetah fans should also be on a lookout for another release of a different sort.
TCG was released on September 25, featuring vocal recordings by Sabrina Bryan, Adrienne Bailon and Kiely Williams, who were all popularized by the Disney original movie, The Cheetah Girls and its sequel. They starred in the film alongside the fourth Cheetah Girl, Raven Symone, who was not part of the TCD album, which has already sold 4 million copies.
"[The album is] the first look at the Cheetah Girls apart from our roles in the show," Kiely Williams said of the album. "Just Sabrina, Adrienne and Kiely kind of saying what we feel...We actually co-produced and wrote a good portion of the album."
She added that TCG is "a little bit more mature than what the fans are used to."
Following the release of their album, the Cheetah Girls will be releasing a Nintendo DS game later in this month. They will also be participating in a Thanksgiving special alongside Kristi Yamaguchi.
As for the Dancing With the Stars contender, Sabrina Bryan is still garnering solid fan responses, even if she might have far to go in the competition. Nonetheless, this young star has established herself as an excellent and competitive performer, and fans need not worry because they will be seeing more of her in the months to come.
