Of course, self confidence derives from knowing that you have the right type of skills and interesting goals to achieve. The rule of thumb says that the clearer the goal is, the higher self confidence gets. And, truth to be said, there is little people can do without it. Even the most capable body and mind won't do anything good without the self confidence. It form a base on which every human activity rests on. The good (or bad, depending on the point of view) thing is that the self confidence is neither genetic nor hereditary. Confidence has to be gained or learned, improved or practiced. It won't come to you al by itself, but you can easily rise it in your self.
