Is there any way to diet like the stars? After all, we're pretty sure they weren't born with their perfect bodies - they must have done something to get rid of all the extra weight which, without intervention, would undoubtedly show up. Is there any secret as to how the stars diet? Surprisingly, there's no secret. Demi Moore, Nia Peeples, and Heather Locklear are all popular Hollywood stars, and dieting for them goes pretty much the same way as it goes for us.
There is no general rule in dieting.
In other words, how the stars diet depends on what suits their preferences, lifestyle, and body chemistry. Demi Moore, for instance, eats a lot of protein and cuts back on carbohydrates (probably making her a low-carbohydrates diet advocate), while Nia Peeples on the other hand stays away from all forms of protein. These stars diet in a way that works for them, and they probably spent some time jumping from one setup to another until they found a diet plan that worked for them.
This is also one reason why there's no end to dieting discussions on which diet is the best. For example, does a low-fat diet work better than a low-carbohydrates plan? Since a plan may work perfectly for one person but may cause disaster to the other. If you're trying to find reasons why a certain plan is not working the way you want it for you, then it's probably either you're not very faithful in following the plan, or it may simply not be the right plan for you.
Not every star is a vegan
Dieting like the stars doesn't mean you'll have to swear off all meat and go vegan. This may have worked for someone with Alicia Silverstone's dedication and character, but let's admit it - not many of us are meant to be vegetarians. Such a drastic attempt to diet like the stars may actually backfire on you and make you sick, so make sure you're prepared when you decide to pull out all the stops in your own diet.
On a side note, if you have the principle to save the meat-producing animals, then to go vegan may be an unforgettable, life-changing decision.
Small, frequent meals may aid
Jennifer Lopez's style of slimming down diet is easy for you to follow. She controls her diet by breaking her eating down into eight smaller meals, in addition to doing her vibrant dancing performances. It is been a fact that if you eat less, but more frequent, your body have the tendency to burn more calories. It has clearly worked for J Lo, therefore, with a little of the same style, you can begin your slimming down also.
Don't forget to exercise.
However, simply eating smaller meals more frequently may not help much if you don't step up your exercise habits. In fact, dieting like the stars may not even induce weight loss as much as regular exercise would. Heather Locklear, for instance, loves McDonald's. How can regularly taking in a Big Mac and Fries count as dieting like the stars? Well, with a vigorous and regular exercise regimen, you can pretty much eat whatever you want.
This is probably the most important part of dieting like the stars - matching your intake with enough physical activity. All of these stars hit the gym regularly, and they never miss a scheduled workout, no matter how early shooting starts on a particular day.
