Indoor dogs get no such luxury, so you need to trim their nails. If you don't the nails can grow too long, curl under, and back into the skin, which could require surgery to fix.

Tooth Brush ? Dogs get plaque too. The only way to prevent doggie cavities and tooth decay is the same way people do it, brushing the teeth. You should purchase a toothbrush and dog toothpaste, which comes in liver, beef, chicken and other flavors, and start this habit on your dog as a pup. It's hard to teach older dogs to trust you putting the toothbrush in their mouth.
