Hair loss is a problem common among middle aged men and women. Some experts say loss of hair is a hereditary thing while other people say that it can be caused by other factors such as stress, very strong medications, and improper care of the hair. Since a lot of people have been plagued by this problem, a lot of ways have been devised to address this. There are both natural and medical solutions for hair regrowth. At the root of the problem of hair loss is the problem with the thyroid glands. If there is any abnormality in the activity of the thyroid glands, this results to excessive hair loss. Thus, the problem with the thyroid glands has to be directly and completely addressed.
But as it is, it is still better to avoid hair loss. There are actually many ways of doing this and each is as easy as the next.
First, drink lots of water. Although this has been many advised many times for a number of benefits, a lot of people still do not drink the recommended amount of water daily. The recommendation does not include coffee, tea, sugar drinks or beer, so are carbonated and other caffeinated drinks. Water boosts your body's ability to reproduce and be active. Further, it helps in the stabilization of the body's thyroid production. Thus, hair growth is expected to be induced.
Second, drink lots of green tea. This drink contains components which causes the relaxation of the blood vessels. This, in turn, helps the heart for smooth cardiovascular activities because of increased circulation. This naturally nourishes hair roots and scalp tissues. This makes green tea a natural hair loss remedy.
Third, get enough sleep. For the body to function smoothly and to its full potential, which includes nourishment and hair regrowth, it needs enough rest. It is recommended that an average of 6-8 hours of sleep be accomplished each night. Unfortunately, not all people can complete this recommended hours of sleep. Because of this, cat naps have become popular. Daily energy boosts can be acquired once a 20-minute cat nap is done. Just remember to sleep for no more than 20 minutes, beyond 20 minutes will normally cause you to be tired and easily exhausted.
Fourth, try to indulge in some aromatherapy sessions whenever possible. Regular scalp massages is proven to be healthy for hair growth. Aromatherapy by essential oils is a proven natural hair loss remedy that can induce healing of the scalp and hair follicles.
Fifth, do some exercise or physical activity daily. A 15 minute brisk walk a day can actually go a long way for your health and hair nourishment. It increases the normal heart rate which improves the circulation of the blood. Thus, the nutrients needed by the scalp and hair are transported efficiently and immediately. Ideally, a walk an hour after a meal is encouraged. This aids the body's digestion. But remember not to walk during the hottest times of the day. This will not only affect your skin but also your hair which can dry it up and cause further damage to it.
