Think about it. If you were a company bringing a product or service to market you really have two choices.
1. Research, design and market your product to the best of your ability hoping that the end user will agree with your internal findings and purchase the goods.
2. Pay everyday people a small fee in lieu of major advertising dollars to see if a product or service has what your end user likes and wants.
It saves the company, because they do not have the cost of manufacturing a product that does not have desired demand. This group of companies will have a leg up on their competition in many ways and ensures they bring a product or service to market that has a built in demand. Built in success.

You then will be send surveys that pay different amounts depending on how long it will take you to complete the survey.
