I know it is easy to buy and open that big bag of potato chips or just pop a bag of microwave popcorn that is full of trans fats. Stay away from those junk foods that are full of trans fats or say fat free (these are normally still full of chemicals and are normally not sugar free). Pop your own healthy popcorn, preferably in a hot air popper.
Don't sit there eating donuts and candy bar after candy bar. A cliff bar or a luna bar would do just fine. You can even find out how to make sugar free healthy cookies and cakes while your online. If that is to much for you to do, then snack on bananas, dates, oranges, figs, apples, grapefruit, peaches, grapes, coconut, carob. Now most fruits have just enough natural sugar to sustain your life force and don't lead to obesity or other health issues. Yep, I'm a health nut. Even though you may not be, you can be conscious of what you put into your body.
So how do you resist the temptation of filling your stomach with junk food or overeating while working at home?
For starters, eat fruit for breakfast. Bananas, dates, apples, etc. Any of your favorite fruits. Dates are a good food to implement into your diet if you usually eat refined sugar in the morning. Sweet dried fruit can help you break the refined sugar habit. Many say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Breakfast means you are breaking a fast. Anyone who fasts on a regular basis knows that you break a fast with fruit to continue on a disciplined diet after the fast.
Cut down on your starch and refined sugar intake. This is why I emphasis enjoying fruit for breakfast. Just 2 pieces of toast with jelly for breakfast and you wonder why you are hungry all day. Most people love starch, including bread because it makes your stomach full for the moment. Starches also stimulate your digestive juices, so once you began to feel energized from the starches you have eaten, you are hungry again.
Most importantly close your kitchen and work area at sundown, don't eat and work at night. Get 6 to 8 hours of sleep and start you day like a well rested early bird.
Mind Body and Soul are healthy when they stay connected and work in harmony with each other. Just like Man Woman and Child together form happy and healthy families. Food Water and Life long health to all homeworkers.
