If you are in a big rush to attract a woman and to get them to agree to a get together or a date, you may come across as desperate; instead, you should hold the reins back a bit in the pickup game if you want your pick up artist strategies to bear fruit.

There are several signs that could indicate that you are moving too fast when you are trying to attract women. Now, bear in mind that a woman does not like to be rushed into anything, and if you are going to attempt to attract women you are going to want to make them as comfortable as possible.

1. You should therefore keep a watchful eye on your own pickup habits to ensure that none of the ugly signs of hurriedness crop up and then are later mistaken for desperation. First, imagine you are trying to pick up a woman. You would not want to give her a gift the minute you meet her or within the first few minutes of meeting her, right?

Well, believe it or not, there are some guys that carry around little trinkets for just such an occasion and guess what: that is a really bad idea. It is unnatural to be giving a woman gifts within the first few hours of meeting her, and may even make her feel awkward. Slow down, and refrain from gift giving until you really get to know the woman a little better.

To that end, if you want to keep her attracted to you and you want to avoid making her feel obligated to you, refrain from super fancy, expensive gifts later on down the road. Leave the fancy gifts for longer term relationships and dating occasions.

2. Secondly, do not be oh so willing to be agreeable in every sense. When you are talking to a woman that you are trying to attract, pay attention to what she is saying, reflect on what she is saying, and offer you are true, valid, and genuine opinion on the matter in a tactful way.

If you become, what I would call, a bobble head, and simply shake your head in agreement to every little thing she is saying, and you do not really engage in the conversation, the woman you are trying to attract will view your actions as a sign of desperation, over eagerness, or worse, disinterest in her.

3. Thirdly, sometimes, a pickup artist thinks that the more women he successfully picks up, the more attractive he must be. A vicious circle develops here and the man will begin to think that he must pick up as many women has he possibly can in order to have any personal value.

Here, you need to slow down, and take a good look at yourself before you make another move. As a pickup artist, your goal is to attract women successfully, and you may have your own personal motivations for that, but your motivations should not revolve around the development of your own self worth!

If you do not believe in yourself, you are defeating the purpose entirely. Essentially, if you want to be attractive to women, you are going to have to believe in yourself, slow down, and play the attraction game in a slow but sure confident style!
