Golf is more than just a car. Since 1974, the year of launching the first generation of the German model, the 26 million copies sold in five consecutive series is the guarantee that when you start to write material about the best selling European model of all time, readers already know a lot about the Golf family.

Volkswagen introduced to the world the new Golf in September of 2008. A sixth vertebrae in the backbone of VW. The first official contact with images of the new Golf was weird. Many expected a revolution, an attempt of Volkswagen engineers to address completely different the design chapter and the technical chapter. They were disappointed at first sight. At the technical level, Golf 6 is based on the previous generation. Being a model that has not had major problems to solve during his lifetime, the differences were, practically, the evolution of each constituent.

Golf has 6 DCC (Dynamic Chassis Control), a package opened by the Volkswagen Passat CC. Basically, DCC is based on a series of sensors that automatically calculates each race suspensions depending on the conditions of rolling wheels in each hand.

VW Golf 6 has two diesel engines of 2.0 liters (110 CP/250 Nm and 140 CP/320 Nm), and for the fans of gas propellers all the new generation of TSI engines. The most interesting being the top of the range: 1.4 TSI 160 Nm CP/240.

One over another, 6 Golf remains one of the great family golf. Element that provides stability and comfort of a good image among fans and no brand only. It is clear however that the public will be divided into two groups: those who love the element of the new conservative Gulf and those who would be more desirable, especially in terms of aesthetics.
