Theres A Light That Never Goes Out
Valerie F Hansen Cht, Rht, Nlp
A light has gone out in the world. A soul dear to my family and me has "gone home". I imagine that everyday countless soul lights go out and return to source. But, this soul was one I laughed with, and was sometimes annoyed with, and was charmed by. I knew this soul as my stepson. Halfway around the world in a land I have never seen, another soul's instant of inattention, was the instrument in sending a son, a young father, and a brother back to the source. The wound is raw, and yet, in my belief system it is said that death is like birth, but in reverse. When we are born into this world, loving people are generally present to welcome us into our new family, while the spirit world waves fond goodbye. In death, our earthly family tearfully waves goodbye, while those on the spirit side gather to welcome us back to our old family. No one. Ever. Dies alone. There is always someone on the other side to welcome and guide us across. Always!
I feel that science supports my belief, in that they tell us that energy is never destroyed it merely changes form. All living things are energy, therefore cannot be destroyed but simply changing form. From my experiences I understand that the spirit world, or light of source, is not ?somewhere up in the sky?. They occupy the same space we do, but vibrate at a higher frequency. They are more apt to see us, than we are to see them.
There are some of us that have the right ?wiring? to see and/or hear the passed over. There are becoming more and more people that are able to catch momentary glimpses or feelings from the other side. I've found that it is becoming relatively common for everyday folks to catch a whiff of the signature cologne of the deceased love one. Lights flicker with no apparent cause, or a meaningful picture may have to be straightened on a regular basis. These can all be signs that someone on the other side is trying to let you know that they are fine. It is seldom that they aren't fine.
The perspective on the other side is different from ours and it is rare that they get caught between worlds by confusion, or because someone's grief holds them too tightly. Even if they do choose to hang around there are many gifted and trained folks able to help them into the light - truly at the end of the tunnel - when they are ready to carry on to the next phase of existence. I may not be able to joke with this soul in the flesh again in this lifetime, but I am more than certain that our soul lights will once again mingle on another plane sometime in the future.
There is a parable about a woman who so mourned her dead son, that she beseeched her God to return him to her. She was told that if she could find even one person in her village that death had not touched, the boy would be returned. Of course she could find no one, for death eventually touches us all.
If you have bid last farewell to a friend or loved one, I humbly suggest some of the following books: Talking To Heaven by James Van Praagh, Saved By The Light by Dannion Brinkley, or The Eagle And The Rose by Rosemary Altea. You might also look at the more science based, Closer to The Light by Melvin Morse, MD, You Have Been Here Before by Dr Edith Fiore, Past lives, Future Lives by Dr Bruce Goldberg, or Life Before Life by Dr Helen Wambach. The list goes on. If you are troubled by the death of a loved one, whether last week or years ago, I hope that one of these books may bring you peace.
