If you go to Grauman's Chinese Theater, you will find the Forecourt of the Stars. Located on Hollywood Boulevard, this is where some of Hollywood's most famous stars have left their handprints and footprints. It is interesting because you can see how your hands and feet measure up to Hollywood stars of legends, past and present.

You could also wander up and down the Hollywood Walk of Fame, free of charge. One of the fun things to do on the Hollywood Walk of Fame is to search the sidewalk to find your favorite celebrities' stars. While walking, you will also see a lot of interesting people and places along the way.
Hollywood Sign & More
Also nearby is the viewing center for the Hollywood sign that watches over the city. Located within the Hollywood & Highland shopping and entertainment complex, it will take some restraint to maintain your gratis day of fun, but you can get a great view of the sign from the viewing area free of charge.
See a TV Show Taping
Another fun thing to do that will not cost you a cent is to visit a television taping of one of your favorite sitcoms, game shows, or reality shows. Tickets are always free, but you should call ahead to the studio to see if you need reservations. Make sure to set aside several hours for your visit.
