1) Go Hiking In Nature

You might say who in there right mind would go hiking but if you and your mate are active and like to get out into the outdoors this can be perfect. There is something so peaceful about getting away from the city and hustle and bustle around town. When you go on a hike you get to connect with nature and see the true beauty of nature right around you. Since it is just you and your partner you really can connect with them without all the distractions of everyday life.

2) Go On A Picnic

This idea kind of piggybacks on the previous idea and can even be combined with it. Go hiking and have a picnic. You can either pre plan it with your partner or just surprise them by saying your going hiking and prepare everything before hand and put it in a back pack, then when you go hiking and you find a good spot you can tell them lets stop and have a picnic and they will be surprised and excited when you unzip your bag with a romantic picnic experience. It doesn't have to be some huge meal prepared, even just having a blanket to lay down along with a nice bottle of wine, cheese and crackers can make it a great time.

3) Rent A Limo To Pick Her Up For Dinner

You have to plan this one a little more in advance because limos usually get booked up on Valentine's Day but it is always a hit. This one is best if done as a surprise as well. A lot of couples go out to dinner on this day but having a limo really makes the night special. You can tell your date you are going to pick them up at a certain time and have a reservation already set for a restaurant you both like or a new one you think may be good to try. Then just show up at their front door and watch their reaction when they see the limo. It's priceless to see how excited they are and will really set the momentum for a great night.
