3.) See the State Museum of Georgia
As a visitor to any foreign country, it is always a must to visit their museums. This is a great way to know a country's culture and history as well as its people. In this museum, you will get to see many artifacts from the Paleolithic period as well as today's modern period.

5.) Drive to Mtskheta
This was once the capital of Georgia during the ancient times. Now, you will see here the Jvari Monastery that was built around the 6th to 7th century. You should also visit the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral.
6.) Svetitskhoveli Cathedral
This is one of Georgia's sacred places as it houses the robe of Jesus Christ. This church also contains the remains of the first Christian King named Mirian as well as his wife, Nana. In the vicinity, you will also see the Samtarvo Monastery.
6.) Borjomi Kharagauli National Park
This is recognized as the biggest national park of the country of Georgia. It is home to Georgia's local floras and faunas. This is also a great place where you can hike or camp out.
7.) Stalin Museum
This is the main attraction of the city of Gori. This houses the history as well as memorabilia as of Stalin. The main feature of this museum is the death mask of Stalin.
8.) More of Stalin
While in Gori, you should also visit the house of Stalin. There is also the Statue of Stalin that stands proud in front of the city hall of Gori. There are also Stalin statues in Stalin Park (where you can have a leisurely stroll) as well as in the Gori State University.
9.) Uplistshikhe
This is a very ancient city in Georgia and is also called the Fortress of the Lord. This is no longer inhabited but is still a popular tourist destination. Here, you will surely marvel at the sight of the Hellenistic amphitheatre as well as the church that was erected above an ancient sun god's pagan temple.
10.) Goris Tsikhe
Also called the Gori Castle, this is located on top of a big hill. What you will see now though are only the ruins of the castle and not much else. But the view this castle offers of the city below, especially the gardens, is a sight to behold.
