Oil Paintings Of Children
Janice Jones
Art is considered as universal human expression, and any human creation is seen as art. Among the most popular we can mention the painting and sculpture. Oil paintings are styles with many followers in the entire world. If you like this kind of paints, you should try to develop your own style. Remember, part of being a good artist is having a particular style.
Another good tip is to know the history of the famous painters who emerged along the history. Knowledge is important to any profession and learn to paint is more than ability and practice; it is the sum of several factors. Choose Oil paintings to express your talent and capacity.
As we said earlier, read painter's biographies will help you to explore different styles. Peter Paul Rubens (1577 Siegen ? 1640 Antwerpen, Netherlands) was a creative Flemish Baroque painter, and a promoter of an exuberant Baroque style that emphasized movement, color, and sensuality. He's renowned for his altarpieces, portraits, landscapes, and paintings of mythological history.
Rubens was influenced by Michelangelo, Titian, Caravaggio, Pieter Bruegel, Antoine Watteau and Eugene Delacroix. Rubens was a prolific artist and most of his paintings had religious motives. Even, he used diverse surfaces to develop his works, for example: wooden panels and canvas. Among the works that we can underline are: Rubens and Isabella Brant in the Honeysuckle Bower (1609-10), Equestrian Portrait of the Duke of Lerma (1603), The Raising of the Cross (1610-11), The Fall of Man (1628-1629), Portrait of Helene Fourment (1630) and The Massacre of the Innocents (1611).
When you find something that you really like, it forms part of your life. Oil paintings would be part of you.
