There are a number of nail fungus removers available on the market. One such treatment is an oral antifungal medication, the most well known of these treatments are Lamisil and Sporonox.

Many products come with precise instructions on how to treat the infection and topical treatments can be effective if those instructions are followed daily. For example in the morning, debris from the day before should be cleaned with a spatula. The treatment in general lasts for two to four weeks.

In the event that you have applied the topical treatment and find you still have infection, then surgery may be your only option. The only other option they may offer you is a prolonged course of treatment; this may also include an oral medication. Again this could take up to six months and you may suffer from side effects.
