Establishing an income-generating content-website or content-blog is one of the fastest methods to get a net-derived income. In this article we explain the how of doing it.

A content-website or a content-blog is a website where people come to read or obtain articles on a given topic. Since they come searching for specific content, they click on advertisements on the website if an ad related to their query is seen. Since google adwords are displayed based upon a thorough spidering of the content, in all possibility some ads will match the query with which they come to the site.

Since an increasing number of advertisers are now resorting to spidering the content, there will be increasing match between the content, the visitor, and the advertisements displayed. This is one of the easiest methods for getting a net-based income, but taking care of a few things will help optimize income-generation.

Topical Website/Blog: if you offer an unsorted potpourri of all kind of articles, practically nobody will visit your website. That is because people visit a site to get authentic information and very few of them are likely to visit a site that does not have a focus. Just as people go to medical shops, hardware shops, the grocers, and the stationers for specific items, it is the same way they behave on the net.

Also, most websites/blogs get visitors through search-engine. If your site is a mixture of topics, they will be so low on search engines that nobody will come to your sites. All spider-based search engines (all the major ones are spider-based) are known to give high weightage to content-websites that have a focus -- narrow or general.

Thus is you wish to launch one or more content-websites, then make each one focus on a general or specific theme. The theme might be as broad as education, medicine, or history.
