A lot of people follow the most strange and crazy programs to bring their weight down. You will see people cutting down their food intake, taking drugs, supplements, diet, exercising and undergoing surgery. But still your weight comes back and you need to start the whole process all over again. Almost every person knows the need to control their weight but they don't know how to do it. ?Eat sensibly and exercise? is a term you will hear from a large number of people but there are few people who manage it that way. People will hear a lot of advice; know a lot of stuff but what they don't know is the number one secret that can help them control their weight.
The number 1 secret for controlling your weight is achieved by maintaining your energy balance. In simple words this balance is the amount of calories you take in and the amount of calories your burn. If you burn more calories than you gain weight, you are fit otherwise you gain more weight. Eating or exercising is always a supporting act for any person. You can eat as much as you want but if you don't burn the fat accordingly you will get fatter. If you can maintain this balance you will lose weight and then carry on for as long as you want. So the question that arises is how to keep this balance? No one can tell you what to eat and what not to eat but no one can have a perfect meal either. Taking in the perfect meal is not the answer because there are a number of people who don't get a perfect meal but still they manage to keep their weight under control. So the next option that comes is to exercise more but this isn't the answer as well. If you exercise more you will become hungrier and the hungrier you are the more food you will consume. As a result you will gain weight rather than losing it.
The solution to all these problems is to maintain a balance in the amount of calories consumed and the amount of calories being burnt. For this you will need to have the right information about the foods and you should know the amount of time you can spend on your exercise. You can ask a number of people about this or you can search the internet to get further information. If you know exactly how much calories you are taking in then you can plan your exercise schedules accordingly. This way you will eat normal and will burn it all hence keeping you from gaining weight. If you are able to control this for once then you will be able to maintain your weight for as long as you want. So follow this and you will be more fit than any of your friends.
