There was a moment when Robby Gordon seemed to be the next winner but technical problems left him out of the competition.
Denny Hamlin ended on third place, despite of the fact that he spent most of the day in the middle of the pack and Mark Martin finished in fifth place.
The unpredictable race which made the audience's adrenaline run from the get-go; had in the top 10 drivers among which we can mention: Carl Edwards, Tony Stewart, Ryan Newman, Kyle Bush and Jimie McMurray and Dale Earnhardt who was in 10th place.
In the way to the finish line
Robby Gordon hit Ward Burton, and on lap 17, three cars were involved in a crash, where Dave Blaney was returned to the garage and Joe Nemecheck came out just fine. Clint Bowyer took part in the accident but he was able to carry on with the race.
Half way through the race Gordon was leading it followed by Carl Edwards, Mark Martin, Elliot Sadler, Dale Earnhardt, Jr. Kasey Kahne, JJ Yeley, Jeff Burton, Sterling Marlin Jimie Johnson and Tony Stewart, but they were all exceeded by Johnson who ended up with a new win.
