Haven't we all experienced the usual body ache and headache? Some of us have horrible symptoms of migraine; some others have a severe back ache, several others are not able to stand up and walk at times due to leg pain. It has become a part of life, this pain. Each day, we come home from school, college or the office complaining about aches and pains. What could be the reason for all that pain? Or do we have a solution for this?
Most of us suffer from pain because of some repetitive motion or bad posture. For example, people working for the entire day at a computer are not only bereft of fresh air and exercise but also prone to bad posture. When we are tired, we tend to slump down in our seats and this repetitive slumping can lead to bad back aches. High daily stress and extra strain on the eyes could be the reason for that annoying headache. While popping painkillers is the most common approach, why do we neglect the small things that can relieve our pain?
Do not sit in the same position for a long time. Have a small break. Take a few minutes off to distress or meditate. Improve your posture consciously and make it a habit. Exercise your body slightly; for example, rotate your wrists or massage your legs. Not only that, use well- designed furniture that prevents undue strain on your body. Follow such small tips to make a big difference to your body and remain pain-free.
