Once you have got great lyrics and a great instrumental arrangement, the making of a singles chart hit song you need to commercialize and make it appealing to the audiences; there is no point in having a success if it's going to get lost in the bunch of rancid songs that make hit because of one simple thing: A music video.

Technology has advanced at great speed. Would you have bought his album if you hadn't seen the video?

The most probable thing is that you wouldn't. Sometimes the song in itself and the performers performance is not optimal and you can not really distinguish what it's being said, this is particularly true for foreign stars (remember Tarkan?) the music video generated for the song will often give you all the elements you need to identify with the song and the performer. Some producers tend to believe that almost any situation can be romantic?But can it be romantic? This is when the surroundings come into place, if the music calls for a joyous occasion, dressing the singer in white in the far east will be considered in poor taste since they were white for funerals and other gloom occasions; if love is in the air, certainly a prisoner can fall in love as does an assassin and a soldier but a war, prison and a murder scene seem hardly the right place to ambiance a romantic video.
