Regardless of the industry a business is in, they have to have equipment that can get the job done without falling apart. Their performance system has to be able to put out the power these conditions require. Some of the biggest names in performance include New Holland, Case, and John Deere transmissions. Whether it is an original Case or rebuilt John Deere transmissions, these companies have incorporated the latest technologies to make a farmer's job as easy and convenient as possible. When you look at these options, it is easy to see why these names are seen at farms across the country.
John Deere Transmissions
One of the newest advancements for this company is its Infinitely Variable Transmissions or IVTs. The biggest benefit to these performance parts is their ability to have a consistent amount of power and efficiency regardless of speed. This is available to the farmer in one of the easiest formats to use that provides the ultimate in control. IVT John Deere transmissions automatically select the perfect speed ratios and gearing. Farmers can complete their fields as quickly as possible with the maximum level of efficiency.
Both original and rebuilt John Deere transmissions keep the engine speeds down to improve their fuel efficiency. This eases the strain of today's high fuel prices while still being highly maneuverable in the field and on the road. Farmer's do not have to guess and grind gears into place to get the tractor into the right gearing. The farmer can enjoy the ease of the autoclutch system and only needs to turn the selector knob to the setting that matches the project at hand.
IH Magnum By Case
Case offers the agricultural industry three separate options to meet their needs and pocketbooks with new technology. The 19F/4R has an additional gear specifically for road travel to increase its fuel efficiency. According to the manufacturer, it gets an 11 percent fuel savings with a top speed of 25 mph. While this added gear does increase the price tag, it will pay for the difference in just 300 drive hours. The 23F/6R has shift-through creeper speeds for easy and effective use of this machine's power. The 19F/4R, 23F/6R, and the standard 18F/4R all have a dual mode autoshift option. This allows the driver to set the equipment to the exact gearing they need for both the road and the field.
T6000 Series By New Holland
The agricultural industry has four choices in New Holland's new line of tractors. The 16x16 autoshift has programmable shifting to achieve the ideal setting in the field and on the road. The driver only has to choose the right situation and the equipment automatically moves into the correct position. The 16x16 with electroshift gives the agricultural industry four ranges with four gearing options in each. The operation is simplified through its clutchless design and requires nothing more than a lever for control.
The 24x24 dual command is clutchless as well, but it has powershifting for both forward and reverse with the ease of push button operation. The powershuttle gives each gear an undergear in both directions. The mechanical shuttle version is a 12x12 syncro command that gives the driver access to four gears in each gearing range.
The years of forcing gears and fighting with the clutch are long over. The range of new technological advancements has made them easy to use, fuel efficient, and convenient. Whether it is a first manufacture or a rebuilt, John Deere transmissions, New Holland, and Case have proven to the world they can take a beating and still cater to the driver.
