Like many televiewers from various parts of the globe, I'm just counting the days till Prison Break returns with its fourth season. But, unlike the majority of female Prison Break fans, my interest lies in ogling the older brother, Lincoln, and the actor who portrays him, Dominic Purcell. Not to say that Wentworth Miller isn't eye candy, but Purcell has been my favorite since John Doe.
Happily, both handsome Prison Break stars will be back, along with a host of new friends and foes added in the mix for fun and the obligatory foil. During FOX's recent upfronts, Prison Break revealed that there will be two new characters in the coming new season. One will reportedly help the brothers Michael and Lincoln, while the other will be a pain in their proverbial butts.
Since that announcement, they've also declared that character actor, Michael Rappaport, will likewise be coming on board as a series regular. Soon after that, came the revelation that the impending fourth Prison Break edition will also bring in a new nerdy hacker figure by the name of Roland Glenn, who is set to hook up with the brothers for at least six installments while they do battle with the pesky Company.
Apart from the casting announcements, the current Prison Break stars have also served up a few titillating tidbits about the future. Miller in particular, arguably the star of the show, has said that his character will eventually become tattoo-free (something that seems cringe-inducing considering the amount of body art he has on). He also summed up the approaching season as one where the ?Dirty Seven? band together to go up against the Company.
?I think it's time that the boys stop running and I think it's time to stand and fight,? the actor told Access Hollywood.
Prison Break is back on our screens for round four of its amazing ride on August 25, moving from its original 8pm time slot to an hour later at 9.
