One of the most common crimes committed on or near college campuses is rape and/or sexual assault. While walking the campus at night you should walk in lighted areas, avoid walking alone, and keep your hands free. Don't walk somewhere unless you are positive of its location, and don't walk on the phone as you won't be able to hear cars, footsteps, or other important sounds.

If you are living in the dorms, lock your doors at all times.
