Sinus Relief Home Remedies
Marcel Stephenson
Using harsh chemicals is not always the answer to curing acne. If you have a milder case of acne, try these natural home remedies instead. They really work, without damaging your skin any further.
Some of the treatments might seem a bit too simple, but they really do work. If you follow the directions, you will be able to see your acne disappear. Here are five of the natural remedies that really work:
1. Hot/Cold Compresses
Hot and cold compresses are a widely recommended relief. Use hot and cold towels. This will open clogged pores, which is a big contributing factor to acne. It will also reduce swelling cause by the acne, which will make your skin feel better.
2. Oils and Juices
Almond oil is excellent when trying to remove acne scars, even though it might sound strange. You can reduce the effect of cysts by using apricot juice.
Cucumber juice can be used as a topical application. You can mix it with carrot juice, or lettuce, or use it on its own.
Try citric fruit juices, like lemon juice, as a natural defoliant. This will remove dead skin cells, which can cause your pores to clog up. Apply the juice, and let it dry for 10 minutes. Then rinse it off with cool water.
3. Honey Face Mask
Honey has natural anti-bacterial qualities it is often applied to the face as a mask, killing bacteria on the surface. Typically, it should be applied once or twice a week depending upon the results of usage.
4. Cleanse with Distilled White Vinegar
Apply vinegar as a topical solution. Let it sit on the infected area for 5-10 minutes, then rinse thoroughly. If the vinegar is too strong, you can dilute it. But don't dilute it too much, as this can weaken the effect of the vinegar.
5. Using Cosmetics and Make-up
Try to avoid these kinds of products. The chemicals and oils in them will clog up your skin pores, which leads to more breakouts.
But remember, external remedies will only be effective in conjunction with a healthy diet filled with unprocessed foods.
