Shampoo With Tea Tree Oil
Matt7 Johnson7
The latest trend in healing and medicine nowadays is going back to nature and opting for treatment and supplements made from herbs or all-natural ingredients. Call it new age or call it enlightenment, the use of such products have enlightened people on how nature has healing properties. One of the most powerful natural products is tea tree oil. This oil has several uses and can help soothe a wide array of diseases and illnesses that it's short of being a miracle oil. You may not believe it at first, but a small vial of this can greatly change your life.
This is a kind of essence oil that comes from the plant Melaleuca alternifolia which is a native plant in Australia. The reason why this plant is called u201ctea treeu201d is that its leaves were sometimes used as tea though it really is not. Today, in fact, it is hardly known as an alternative to real tealeaves. Tea tree oil could also be added in items like soap, lotion, ointments, and shampoos. While some may expect a greenish hue to this plant extract, it actually has a golden hue to it. The clear with a touch of gold oil is one of the most versatile essences one can use.
Among the many uses of this oil, its most popular function is as an antiseptic as its elements can effectively kill germs and bacteria. It has been used in Australia as such before it was released into the mainstream market. The Aborigines used to gather tea tree leaves, crush them and squeeze the extract on their wounds or skin lesions.
A lot of recent scientific studies tried to measure the antiseptic value of tea tree oil and they found that it not only killed germs and bacteria, it could also treat skin ailments and some diseases. This extract has the compound terpinen-4-OL, which gives the oil the ability to kill bacteria. Aside from its antiseptic use, this oil could also function as an anti fungal agent as it is effective in killing fungus found on one's skin. With this, the essence could also be an effective cure or treatment for fungal conditions like athlete's foot or toenail fungus. This extract, when used as a shampoo, is an effective anti-dandruff agent.
Aside from these things, tea tree oil also has the capability to manage acne. Studies have shown that the application of the oil on moderate acne has considerably lessened the occurrence of the skin condition. The effect was similar to how one's skin would react when treated with benzoyl peroxide.
There are more health benefits and uses for this wonderful oil than what is listed here. The bottom line is that this is something you probably want to have on your dresser on days when you just need a little of nature healing you and your illnesses. And don't stop with the oil! If you're after clean and clear skin, tea tree oil and maybe the other toiletries made with it should line up your bathroom sink.
